Venchi Chocolate recently opened a store in Florence's Piazza del Mercato Nuovo, opposite the Loggia del Porcellino with the famous bronze piglet. Venchi is known for their high-quality chocolate so it's no surprise that the ice cream promises to be equally well-crafted using natural ingredients and banning use of hydrogenated fats, flavorings, colorings. At the store, in a historic library, there's a chocolate tasting room an educational area that traces the history and production of chocolate.
